Hand constructed from sections of shaped and jointed timber - the base resting upon a cabriole form tripod. Four small drawers are positioned above the foot - one of which incorporate a cigarette dispenser. The convex drawer fronts are mounted with cast bronze 'peach' form knops. The cylindrical upper assembly incorporates four hinged convex doors, each of which opens to reveal storage racks for glasses and bottles/decanters.
The upper extreme is mounted with a turned finial assembly, (removable).
Externally, the central area is embellished with hand applied, heavily textured, polychrome and gilt lacquer landscape form decoration. A deep red lacquer, with brush painted decoration, covers the remaining surfaces.
Size: overall height - 27 1/2" (698mm), max diameter - 12" (305mm).

Condition: Very Good. Surface marks etc. (consistent with genuine age and usage). No repairs. Fine natural colour and patina.
