Description
Hand raised and formed from a high grade silver and resting on a plain circular base - this silversmith's original 'marking out' scribing centre is still present within the interior. The shallow vessel is mounted with a traditional stylised double serpent handle / suspension.An area below the rim is engraved with the original owner's name, "A . Bost" - see image 13.
The final image details a partially struck Hallmarked, left of handle, below rim.
Condition: Good. Signs of genuine age and usage, resulting in surface marks and small bruises, (not spoiling the appearance in any way). No machine polishing and totally retaining the original colour and patina
