Hand raised and formed from a high grade silver and resting on a plain circular base - this silversmith's original 'marking out' scribing centre is still present within the interior. The shallow vessel is mounted with a traditional stylised double serpent handle / suspension. An area below the rim is engraved with the original owner's name, "A . Bost" - see image 13. The final image details a partially struck Hallmarked, left of handle, below rim. Condition: Good. Signs of genuine age and usage, resulting in surface marks and small bruises, (not spoiling the appearance in any way).
