Description

Hand raised and worked from heavy gauge beaten sheet copper. This example rests upon an applied slightly flaring collet type foot. The baluster form vessel incorporates a band of broad segmented fluting. The area below the rim is fret-work pierced, incorporating trellis form embellishment.
The surface is finished with dense, intricately chiseled decoration - the tooling forming highly complex scrolling floral motifs.
Height - 5 7/8" (149mm), max diameter - 8 3/8" (212mm).
Weight - 1,368 grams.
Condition - Very Good. No dents or repairs. Good natural colour and patina.
