Spring 2026 - Following work in late 2025, access has now been gained to the dispersal of a large private collection of world antiques, further news of which later this month. Also, visits to events, new to me, have produced some great finds - many of which now available from stock. Items new to the website this month to include:- Oceanic pieces from The Trobriand Islands, The Marshall Islands and Samoa, Pre-Columbian pottery and beads, also Hindu metal castings from India.
Autumn 2025 - Time has been divided between an on-going archaeological study project and the continued hunt for interesting world antiques. The last couple of months have allowed me to acquire more unusual pieces, gathered from UK private collections and the world of antiques events. A good Bedouin dallah is now one of the featured website items, with a rare and unique 18th century French silver armorial casket also secured for stock. More items will follow over the next few weeks - to include a selection of war clubs from Africa and Polynesia.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - The "World Silver" category has now been discontinued as a stand alone heading. Silver items are now displayed with other items in the region of origin, ie Chinese silver will now appear in the category "Chinese antiques", Indonesian silver in the category "South East Asia" etc. Betel / Sireh related silver items will continue to appear in the "Betel Accoutrements" category.
