Description

Hand carved from a single section of dense, deep red native hardwood. The standing figure of Li Tieguai, (Iron Crutch Li), is accompanied by tigers and a Kilin. The immortal holds a peach in the left hand - the right grips his 'gnarled' staff. The integral plinth is of rocky form.
Height - 17 15/16" (456mm).
Weight - 1,439 grams.
Condition - Very Good. No chips or cracks - no restoration. Fine natural colour and patina.
