Description
Of tapering form, cast in copper alloy, (brass) and incorporating a pair of lug form handles. The mortar its embellished with bands of reeded decoration - the front face cast with the date "1825".Internally, the surface shows signs of age and sustained usage.
Size: height: 3 7/8" (98mm), opening outer diameter - 4 7/16" (113mm).
Weight: 830 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Signs of genuine age and usage. No cracks or losses. Natural colour and patina.
