Description
Of tapering wasted form, cast in copper alloy, (brass). The mortar is externally is octagonal in section - rather than the more plain campana form generally found and rests upon a stepped circular foot.Internally, the surface shows signs of age and sustained usage.
Size: height: 5 3/16" (132mm), opening outer diameter - 4 5/8" (118mm).
Weight: 1352 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Signs of genuine age and usage. No cracks or losses. Natural colour and patina.
