A heavy baluster form huqqa, cast in copper alloy, (brass) - resting upon an integral flaring circular foot. The waisted neck incorporates a collar form flange below the tapering opening. The surface is finished with panels containing a large boteh, or 'mir' motif - each one embellished with chiseled foliate designs. Tooled trailing water-flower and lotus petals cover the remaining surfaces. Size: height - 10 1/8" (258mm). Weight - 849 grams. Condition - Very Good. No dents or cracks - no repairs.
