Hand constructed from elements of finely cast and wrought bronze - the surface retaining much of the original gilt finish. The vessel is of baluster form and rests upon a circular foot. A threaded iron central coupling locks the globe from spirt reservoir components in place. Rising through a series of highly ornate demountable baluster type embellishments, the neck tapers to form the 'sprinkler' head. The upper extreme is cast in form of a flower head - the central area of which is drilled with piercings. Height - 11 1/2" (293mm). Weight - 1092 grams. Condition: Very Good. Wear to the gilding and minor surface marks, (consistent with age and usage) - no repairs. Natural colour and patina. Internal Ref: IM 1037
