Description

Hand raised and worked from beaten high grade silver. Of cylinder form, both examples incorporate thread mounting convex cover sections - both covers retaining the original finials.
The surfaces are centrally embellished with a band of chiseled shaped lozenges - each lozenge contains a stylised animal or bird form. Additional bands of tooled decoration are positioned above and below the central panelling.
The bases are both chiseled with the maker's "Fish" mark - see additional images.
Height(s) - 3 1/2" (89mm).
Weight(s) - 3.04oz Troy, 94.4 grams, 3.06oz Troy (95.3 grams).
Condition: Very Good. Minor surface marks, consistent with genuine age and usage. No repairs. Fine natural colour and patina.
Provenance: Purchased from a private UK collection of antiques from the Shan States region.
