Description
A heavy gauge copper charger, incorporating an applied and riveted rim. Complex figurative, floral and geometric elements form bands of raised embellishment to the face. The raised decoration is heavily silvered, (not pitch filled).
A central alter, or shrine is flanked by two attendants. Ten deity figures are each depicted standing within a shaped mandala - the deities encircling the central shrine.
The reverse is of plain form and does not incorporate a wall suspension lug.
Diameter - 12 1/4" (311mm).
Weight - 1,134grams.
Condition - Very Good. No dents or cracks. No losses to the decoration and no restoration. Natural colour and patina.
