Description
Cast in copper alloy, (brass) hand worked and finished. The tray type upper section is of sallow octagonal form and is centrally embellished with a chiseled stylised flower head.Four animal paw bracket form supports are integrally cast to the underside - each one of which is fitted with a small brass castor type wheel.
An area of the rim is finished with a small Tamil inscription - see images.
Size: Length - 9 3/8" (238mm), width - 7" (178mm), height - 2 1/2" (68mm).
Weight - 1210 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Minor surface marks etc. consistent with age and usage - no repairs. Natural colour and patina.
