Description
Cast in two sections using the 'lost wax' process - hand tooled and finished. This example is of circular form and incorporates a press mounting central pedestal support. The tazza forms a bowl with the support removed - evenly locating on a table surface, located by the inner and outer base flanges.The bowl and supporting section are each finished with a band of highly complex, intricately cast, scrolling decoration.
Size: max diameter - 10" (254mm), height - 6 3/8" (162mm).
Weight - 1546 grams.
Condition - Very Good. The usual minor casting flaws. Signs or genuine age and usage. No cracks or dents. No repairs. Fine natural colour and patina.
