Spanish colonial Peru, (possibly Bolivia) - dating from the mid eighteen century, (unmarked). Hand raised and formed from beaten sheet silver. This example is of baluster form and incorporates a fluted and tapering neck. The 'waisted' area above the baluster is embellished with a band of simple punched decoration. Height - 2 1/4" (57mm). Weight - 1.71oz Troy, (53.0 grams). Condition - Very Good. Surface marks etc. consistent with genuine age and usage. No repairs. Natural colour and patina. Internal Ref: S 1006
