Spanish colonial Peru, (possibly Bolivia) - dating from the mid eighteen century, (typically unmarked). Hand raised and formed from beaten sheet high grade silver. This example is of tapering baluster form and incorporates a band of broad fluting below the shoulder. The vessel is mounted with a cast and scrolling handle.
Size: Height - 1 1/4" (32mm), max diameter - 1 3/4" (39mm). Weight - 0.94oz Troy, (29,2 grams). Condition - Very Good. Surface marks etc. (consistent with genuine age and usage). No repairs. Natural colour and patina. Internal Ref: S 1019
