Description
Hand carved, shaped and jointed from native cedar-wood timber. The totem incorporates four traditional elements - a frog supports the figure of a Shaman, a raven stands above, an eagle stands at the upper extreme. The surface is finished with hand applied polychrome decoration.
The eagle's raised wings incorporate many hand written names / signatures to the reverse. The script incorporates the artist's name, "Bobby Cole, Capilano Indians" - image 14.
The totem is currently mounted with wire wall suspension - easily removed if required.
Height - 14 7/8" (378mm).
Weight - 193 grams.
Condition: Very Good. No cracks or losses. No repairs - natural colour and patina.
