Hand carved, shaped and jointed from native cedar-wood timber. The totem incorporates three traditional elements - a bear supports a raven, with a thunderbird standing at the upper extreme. The surface is finished with hand applied polychrome decoration. The thunderbird's raised wings are centrally pinned, (allowing rotation). The totem is mounted above the original timber section plinth. No artist's mark or signature found. Size: Height - 13 3/4" (349mm), thunderbird wingspan - 12 3/4" (322mm). Weight - 339 grams.
