Description
Hand worked and finished from heavy gauge copper alloy - tapering in form and incorporating a flaring lip at both openings. Both examples incorporate a vertical slot at the closure point.The surfaces are hand tooled with bands of geometric motifs - typical of Baule, (Baoule) artistry.
Height, (approx) - 6 3/16" (157mm).
Total weight - 757 grams, (369g + 388g).
Condition: Very Good. No cracks or repairs. Minor 'bumps' and surface marks - consistent with genuine age and usage. Fine natural colour and patina.
