Description

Cast in copper alloy, (brass), using the 'lost wax' process. This example incorporates an integral rectangular plinth, above which stands the 'war horse'. Lord Shiva and Parvati are depicted as the warrior Khandoba accompanied by Mhalsa.
Size: Height - 9" (228mm), Overall length - 5" (126mm).
Weight: 690 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Signs of genuine age and usage, resulting in a mellow, softened, appearance. No cracks or losses. Fine natural colour and patina.
