Description
Cast in brass and of waisted form. The upper 'trumpet' type opening links via a narrow neck channel to the campana form vessel below. The base is centrally brass 'plugged', (a constructional technique typical of cast hollow-ware from this region).The surface is finished with bands of repeating chiseled lotus petals and panels containing floral motifs.
Overall height - 3 7/8" (98mm), max diameter - 3 1/8" (79mm).
Weight - 286 grams.
Condition: Very Good. No cracks or major dents. Usage wear to the surface associated with age and usage. No repairs. Fine natural colour and patina.
