Description

Hand carved from two sections of native timber. The cup incorporates a shaped and pierced grip - the grip fitted with the original leather strap. The strap is complete with the original wood toggle, carved in the form of a kayak.
The final image, details a hand written and dated pencil inscription to the inside of the cup, "CANADA 1929".
Cup length - 5 3/8" (137mm).
Total weight - 63 grams.
Condition - Very Good. No chips or cracks - no restoration. Good natural colour and patina.
