Description
Hand formed from native clay, low fired and detailed. The figures are both fully clad with high grade beaten sheet silver, (this technique often used in the construction of figures of the Buddha).These scarce examples are depicted kneeling, both figures holding offerings boxes - the headdresses of unique form.
The final image details the green baize lined bases.
Height (max) - 5 3/4" (146mm).
Weight, (combined) - 367 grams.
Condition - Very Good. No cracks and no silver losses. Minor surface marks, (consistent with genuine age and usage). Natural colour and patina.
