Description

Deccan, India - cast using the 'lost wax' process. This scarce example incorporates pierced decoration surrounding a fluted central boss. A large lug is cast to the central area of the lower edge - the uppermost extreme incorporates a pair of strap mounting slots.
A previous owner has added a small suspension cord, (easily removed if required).
Height - 4 3/16" (107mm), max width - 2 7/8" (73mm).
Weight - 152 grams.
Condition - Very Good. No dents or cracks. Signs of genuine age and usage. No repairs. Fine natural colour and patina.
