Description
Constructed from leather, mixed metals and coral. The purse is of traditional 'Baghu' form and incorporates a hinged central suspension lug. The lug is fitted with a studded leather strap. A shaped brass clasp retains the cover in the closed position.
A raised central brass boss to the cover face is set with a polished coral bead - sections of finely hand worked brass and silver embellish the cover surface, edges and also the strap. The strap has retained traces of a paper collection label.

Weight - 206 grams.
Condition: Good. Typical losses to the the metal embellishments. Wear associated with genuine age and usage. No restoration. Fine natural colour and patina.
