Constructed, in miniature form, in the manner of a traditional Chinese table or stand. The table has been skilfully created from shaped and jointed sections of native hardwood timber - the surface finished with a dense black lacquer ground. Sections of copper alloy wire are also inlaid, forming contrasting 'cloud' like' framing to the polished natural shell. Size: height - 4 1/2" (114mm), max width - 10 3/4" (273mm), depth - 4" (102mm). Weight: 188 grams. Condition - Good. Two minor chips to the black lacquer to the underside, (not visible from above - see images). Minor surfaces marks etc. consistent with age.
