Description
Cast in copper alloy using the 'lost wax' process. The complex hand finished casting depicts Lord Rama, incorporating a bow to the outstretched left hand. The surface is selectively gilt-lacquer finished - contrasting with a deep verdigris finish to the remaining surface areas.The casting is securely mounted above the original rectangular hardwood plinth.
Size: height - 9 1/2" (242m), Overall length - 6 1/2" (165mm).
Weight - 550 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Signs of some genuine age and usage. No dents or cracks. No restoration. Fine natural colour and patina.
