Description

Hand carved and shaped from a single section of native timber. The reverse incorporates a hollowed central recess, also forming the hand grip. The convex face is embellished with carved and heat darkened* 'poker-work' decoration - the decoration incorporates a Kookaburra, hunter figure and a kangaroo.
*No burn't or charred smell, (indicating good age to this example).
Size: overall height - 24 1/8" (613mm), width - 7 7/8" (198mm).
Weight - 704 grams.
Condition: Very Good, (untouched). Signs genuine age. Natural colour and 'deep' patina.
