Description
This large example is of turned and hand finished cast brass, incorporating a large truncated conical boss to the centre of the raised base. The bowl rests upon an integral collet type foot and incorporates a horizontal rim at the opening.The internal surfaces are covered with chiseled stylised animals and dense foliage.
Size: diameter - 7 1/8" (182mm), height - 1 1/4" (45mm).
Weight - 716 grams.
Condition: Good. Areas of verdigris to the exterior and surface marks etc. (consistent with genuine age and usage). Natural colour and patina.
