The lug is fitted with a studded leather strap. A wrought steel clasp retains the cover in the closed position. A raised central brass boss to the cover face is set with a cabochon of polished coral - sections of finely hand worked brass and silver embellish the cover surface, edges and also the reverse. Internally, the purse is lined with a fabric of woven natural fibre. Width - 4 5/8" (128mm). Weight - 268 grams. Condition - Good. losses (typical) to the metal embellishments.
