Description

Hand raised and finished form heavy gauge beaten sheet copper - this good example takes the form of a lotus flower. The bowl incorporates fluted 'petal' shaped panels, each of which rises to a lancet form extreme - creating the scalloped, or reticulated rim.
The surface is chased and embossed with complex scrolling foliate decoration.
Max. diameter - 4 1/4" (108mm), height - 2 3/16" (55mm).
Weight - 290 grams.
Condition: Very Good. No cracks or dents - no repairs. Good natural colour and patina.
