Hand constructed from hand wrought sections of copper, brass and steel. Both 'tools' are mounted with a hinged suspension hook at the upper extreme. The brass shafts are of octagonal section and incorporate decorative copper embellishments. A decorative lobed copper 'poppyhead' collar is mounted at the head junction of both examples. The knife is steel bladed - the blade mounted with two hinged decorative brass 'droplets'. The spoon incorporates a bowl formed from a drilled and worked natural scallop shell. Overall length(s): knife - 10 7/8" (278mm), spoon - 10 1/4" (260mm). Weight(s): knife - 61.7 grams, spoon - 78.9 grams. Condition: Good.
