Turned, hollowed and shaped from a single section of natural alabaster stone. This large example is of baluster form, incorporating a broad rim at the opening.
The jar is of ancient form - the stone with unique character and appearance.
Size: height - 8 1/4" (210mm).
Weight - 1014 grams.
Condition: Fair to Good. A chip to the rim and small old rim repair - see images. natural colour and patina.
