The double hinged cover incorporates a recessed folding mirror with easel type support. A pair of drawers to the front face are mounted with shaped brass handles - corresponding brass fittings form hinges and decorative mounts. An inlay of foliate motifs, formed from shaped and polished ox-bone, embellishes the front face and drawer facings. A pair of hinged carry handles are mounted centrally to the plain side facings. Size: front face width - 6 3/4" (172mm), height - 5 1/16" (128mm), depth - 9 1/4" (235mm). Weight: 1335 grams. Condition - Good.
